The experience
Children don’t just hear a new Spanish word for market. They enter one.
They might carry a basket, ask someone for an object, exchange materials, move through the space, negotiate choices, and discover how people use Spanish within a meaningful cultural context.
Language becomes something they can move through, respond to, and use.

Kinetic Lingo introduces children to diverse and contemporary cultural contexts while recognizing that no single country, holiday, food, tradition, or experience represents the entire Spanish-speaking world.
Instructors
Kinetic Lingo isn’t designed around children following a script.
Our instructors create responsive learning experiences—noticing what children understand, adapting support, expanding language, and creating opportunities for children’s communication to influence what happens next.

Kinetic Lingo brings Spanish to life through meaningful movement, imaginative experiences, cultural context, tangible exploration, and real human connection.
Children don’t simply memorize Spanish words. They move with the language, respond to it, make choices with it, explore with it, and gradually discover what they can do with it.
Class formats
Every child and family is different. Kinetic Lingo Spanish can be offered as an individual learning experience or with a privately organized group of children learning together.
One-on-one classes create space for a highly responsive experience shaped around the individual child.
The instructor can follow the child’s interests, adjust pacing and support, and create meaningful opportunities to understand and use Spanish through movement, exploration, imagination, objects, and interaction.
Families who already have a group of children interested in Spanish can organize a Kinetic Lingo group experience together.
Learning with others creates opportunities for communication, collaboration, shared experiences, imaginative play, and interaction among children. Groups may include friends, siblings, neighbors, or other families who would like their children to learn together.
Class location, schedule, frequency, and format are arranged based on the needs of each class.
Kinetic Lingo Language PassportKinetic Lingo Language Passport
The optional Kinetic Lingo Language Passport gives children a tangible place to leave traces of the experiences that mattered to them, and to carry those traces forward as their relationship with Spanish grows. A trace might be a drawing, a mark, a word, a symbol, a small paper artifact, or something shared with an instructor. There is no single right way to fill a Passport.
Optional and highly recommended. Children participate fully in Kinetic Lingo classes without one.
